 Martin Wickramasinghe was born in a small but beautiful village called Koggala close to Galle on May 29, 1891.His father was Bastian Wickramasinghe. Hey first attended  the village temple to learn to read and write and then attended  Bonavista  college, Unawatuna to  study English. After his father died, he went to Colombo to work under  a businessman .There he spent his free time by reading   books and newspaper which was his greatest hobby.

He very often used  the dictionary  to improve his knowledge of English. In this way, he learned English on his own. He worked for the "Dinamina" and " Lakshmi"  newspapers for sometime. He was the editor of three newspapers for more than 15 years and he spent his entire life on reading and writing.

At the age of 34, he got married to Prema de Silver and had three sons: Sarath,Vasantha and Ranga  and three daughters Rupa,Usha and Unie.

He contributed to sinhala language and literature  by writing  books on several subjects such as social science, biology, philosophy, Buddhism and  fine arts. He wrote 14 novels. He first novel was called "Leela". His Famous Novel "Gamperaliya" become very popular among people and a film was produced based on it. Koggala with its beautiful surroundings provided the background to his writing ."Modelbouw" which was written in 1947 is another very popular novel .He died on 23 July 1976.A museum was established at Koggala to appreciate the great service done by him to Sinhala language and literature.

Indhira Gandhi

Indhira Gandhi  was born on 19th November  in 1917. Her father was Jawaharlal Nehru who was the 1st prime Minister of independent  Indian  and her mother was Kamala Nehru. She has been interested in politics since she was 12 years old. In 1942 She married a journalist Feroze Gandhi and had two sons Rajiv and Sanjay. After Nehru died in in 1964 she was elected to the parliament in his place.She became the Prime Minister after the death of the Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri in in 1966.She served as the Prime Minister of India from 1966 to 1977 and against form 1982 to 1984.During this Period, there was a government attack on the Golden temple where a lot of terrorist  activities took place.

Many sikh people who were occupying the temple died due to this attack. As a result she was killed in October 1984 by one of her own body guards, who was a sikh.

There are many kinds of tea in the world such as: green tea black tea  and herbal tea. All these types of tea come from the same tea plants. Different teas are made by doing different things to the leaves of the tea plant.

A types of tea that has recently become very popular worldwide is green tea. There are several reasons why green tea has become popular. It has less Caffeine than black tea and has a nice flavor, But the main reasons why green tea has become very popular is because many people think that drinking green tea is good for health.

Green tea was first drunk in China more than 4000 years ago and it is still popular there. China is known as a country that grows tea. Some areas of China have a very good climate for growing  tea and many famous kinds  of tea come from there.

There are many other countries that grow tea such as Sri Lankan, Japan ,Korea and Thailand. Japan has a rich green tea culture. Like  China, there are different areas of Japan that are famous for different kinds of tea.

People have felt for a long time that green tea has positive effect on our health. Recently many studies have proved these beliefs. These studies have shown that green tea can reduce  heart disease,  some kinds  of cancer and improve brain functioning, But these studies have only been done on animals .

Whether our believe that it can cure all ours ills or not, green tea is very popular now and will most probably continue to be popular in the future.

Christopher Henry Gayle was born on September 21, 1979, a Jamaican cricketer who plays international cricket for the West Indies.  Destructive batsman Gayle is widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen to ever play Twenty20 cricket and is considered by some to be the best batsman ever.  Gayle was instrumental in helping the West Indies win the 2004 ICC Champions Trophy, the 2012 ICC World Twenty20 and the 2016 ICC World Twenty20.

Gayle was born into a very poor family and his father was a police officer.  Mother sold peanuts on the street. He is the fifth child in a family of six. Gayle, who lived miserably in a small two-room house, said the days of starvation were endless. Once He has said that he stolen foods several times in that time period.

After completing his education, he attended the Kingston Cricket Academy, Jamaica, instead of pursuing higher education. This is where the basic foundation of his cricketing career took place.  This all-rounder has been known as a bit of a lazy player since he was a kid because he does not run on the field so energetically.

His talents got him to enter the national team in a very short period of time.  He played his first cricket match in 1999 against India. He first played in a Test match in 2000 against Zimbabwe. The first T20 match was played in 2006 against New Zealand. Chris is the West Indies' all-time leading scorer with the most ODIs and the most number of ODIs played.
He holds a number of great records in his sporting career,
  • The player who scored the first century in a T20 match.
  • In 2015, he became the first player to score a double century in ODI cricket
  • Reaching the top four players who have crossed the 300-run mark twice in a Test match.
  • Chris Gayle is also the only player to score 300 runs in a Test match, 200 runs in an ODI and 100 runs in a T20I match.
  • Becomes the fastest player to score a century in an IPL match.
  • To become the first player in the history of the T20 tournament to cross the 10,000 mark.
He retired from Test cricket in 2014 and ODI cricket in 2019. He also retired from cricket this year in his last T20 tournament. By the time he left Test cricket, he had scored 15 centuries and 37 half-centuries. He has scored 25 centuries and 54 fifties in ODIs and 2 centuries and 13 fifties in T20s. Gayle has taken 73 wickets in Tests, 167 wickets in ODIs and 17 wickets in T20s. He is also reported to have kept 235 catches. 

Today, he has made a name for himself as a hip hop singer. He is nicknamed the " Universe Boss " .

If I go to Hogwarts

 I would travel Hogwarts express, go around the restricted areas of the school go to forbidden forest. I start the day with a race with the birds on my broomstick. I would wear the invisibility cloak and wander through the unknown  corridor of Hogwarts . I will go and play with my magic  with friends. I will attend the classes and learn all about magical word. I will go to  Hagrid 's place in the evening  and talk to him about magical creatures and secret . I love to read magical books so I will go to library and learn new spells. At the weekends I will go to Quodpot training  When end lecture usually I go to the ground and paly magical chess with friends.
