Universe Boss

Christopher Henry Gayle was born on September 21, 1979, a Jamaican cricketer who plays international cricket for the West Indies.  Destructive batsman Gayle is widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen to ever play Twenty20 cricket and is considered by some to be the best batsman ever.  Gayle was instrumental in helping the West Indies win the 2004 ICC Champions Trophy, the 2012 ICC World Twenty20 and the 2016 ICC World Twenty20.

Gayle was born into a very poor family and his father was a police officer.  Mother sold peanuts on the street. He is the fifth child in a family of six. Gayle, who lived miserably in a small two-room house, said the days of starvation were endless. Once He has said that he stolen foods several times in that time period.

After completing his education, he attended the Kingston Cricket Academy, Jamaica, instead of pursuing higher education. This is where the basic foundation of his cricketing career took place.  This all-rounder has been known as a bit of a lazy player since he was a kid because he does not run on the field so energetically.

His talents got him to enter the national team in a very short period of time.  He played his first cricket match in 1999 against India. He first played in a Test match in 2000 against Zimbabwe. The first T20 match was played in 2006 against New Zealand. Chris is the West Indies' all-time leading scorer with the most ODIs and the most number of ODIs played.
He holds a number of great records in his sporting career,
  • The player who scored the first century in a T20 match.
  • In 2015, he became the first player to score a double century in ODI cricket
  • Reaching the top four players who have crossed the 300-run mark twice in a Test match.
  • Chris Gayle is also the only player to score 300 runs in a Test match, 200 runs in an ODI and 100 runs in a T20I match.
  • Becomes the fastest player to score a century in an IPL match.
  • To become the first player in the history of the T20 tournament to cross the 10,000 mark.
He retired from Test cricket in 2014 and ODI cricket in 2019. He also retired from cricket this year in his last T20 tournament. By the time he left Test cricket, he had scored 15 centuries and 37 half-centuries. He has scored 25 centuries and 54 fifties in ODIs and 2 centuries and 13 fifties in T20s. Gayle has taken 73 wickets in Tests, 167 wickets in ODIs and 17 wickets in T20s. He is also reported to have kept 235 catches. 

Today, he has made a name for himself as a hip hop singer. He is nicknamed the Universe Boss " .
